Green lifestyle lessons
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved the color green—the color of life—and nothing makes me more curious than finding ways to make each of our lives more fully green. A bit older, I had the opportunity to participate in making soap from recycled materials.
Right from that moment, questions began to stir in my mind: “How can we sell more of these eco-friendly products, and how can we get others to buy products that will protect the trees—their ‘stories’?” Those questions have driven me ever since. For me, and perhaps many others, building a green lifestyle will help us empathize with our surroundings, be more in harmony with nature, and live a life oriented toward “Truth, Goodness, and Beauty”

Lessons from the story of the laborers
I really enjoy volunteering. Many people think that sharing what we have with those who don’t is a completely unnecessary action. But for me, volunteering is not just about giving; it’s also about receiving. Each of our trips, like the trees, is a story, a lesson. The street cleaners and sanitation workers—many adults still hold malicious prejudices about their professions.
But for me, every job is valuable. Skilled business people bring wealth to the city, talented artists bring joy to homes, and the humble sanitation workers—they might cause inconvenience to some others due to the nature of their work. Yet, few realize that hidden beneath those dusty uniforms and masks are silent heroes. They deserve much more attention.Once, when I was handing out bread around Da Nang to late-night workers, I heard the street cleaners talk about their day. They told me about their heavy workload and the plastic waste scattered everywhere on every street corner. I asked myself, “What would happen if a city was without these people?” That question still remains in my mind every time I see the street cleaners.
volunteer trips
After the trips to the orphanage and handing out bread to impoverished workers, I felt truly touched and matured a great deal. At the orphanage, I got to play, talk, and listen to the innocent yet resilient stories of the children. Despite a life lacking parental love, they always smiled and believed in the future. And when giving out bread, I felt the hardship of those simple laborers, but in their eyes, there was still a gleam of joy and gratitude. These trips helped me understand that sharing love is the way to make life warmer and more meaningful.
